Biography

Proud President of Bell Textron Canada Ltd., Steeve Lavoie is an experienced manager and an ultra-marathoner motivated by surpassing oneself and limits.

Always guided by this will, Steeve directs all activities of the Commercial Center of Excellence, focusing on employee engagement and the execution of an integrated strategy aimed at ensuring the competitiveness and viability of commercial activities in a global market constantly evolving.

Through his passion for long-distance running, he developed the notions of motivation, perseverance and resilience in achieving his goals. Always on the lookout to push the limits, Steeve applies this quest for self-transcendence in his personal and professional life. With more than 20 years of experience in international manufacturing and operations management, program management, aerospace product development, strategic project planning and execution, and process reengineering, he guides the company based in Mirabel since 2019 and redefines vertical lift as we know it.

Prior to joining Bell, Steeve held various positions of increasing responsibility at Bombardier, a world leader in aircraft and train manufacturing, between 1996 and 2018. He also held the position of Vice President, Industrialization and Strategy manufacturer at Bombardier.

He holds a Master Business Administration (MBA) from Hautes Études Commerciale (HEC Montreal), a Bachelor degree in aerospace from École Polytechnique de Montréal, and obtained University certification in Corporate governance at the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés from Laval University's faculty of administrative sciences.

Steeve has also been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aéro Montréal since 2021 and sits on several other boards of directors including, among others, the Board of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC).
