One of the main characteristics of an active asset manager is to invest according to his convictions and his understanding of the major economic and socio-political considerations.

As CEO of a world-leading asset management company, Jean Raby will share his vision of the key geopolitical and macro-economic issues impacting finance and capital markets. Being based in Paris, he will in particular provide a specific perspective on Europe and will comment on the consequences of European monetary policy.

He will also share his own beliefs about the foundations of sustainable growth and the role of asset managers in this respect, while addressing two major generational issues: retirement and the millennials relationship to money, as they are likely to benefit in the coming years from the greatest wealth transfer in history.

Born in Quebec, French by adoption and head of a Franco-American asset manager, Jean Raby, who has always kept a special emotional bond with Quebec despite years living abroad, will also share his personal vision of Montreal and Quebec’s international reach.
