Maria Della Posta

Maria Della Posta has been the President of Pratt & Whitney Canada since June 2019. Under her leadership, the company has solidified its position as a leader in aircraft propulsion, delivering innovative products and services that redefine industry standards.
A visionary leader, Maria has been instrumental in driving Pratt & Whitney Canada's business model transformation and focus on sustainability. She championed the development of groundbreaking engines such as the PW800 turbofan, powering business aviation into a new era, and the PT6E-Series™, the industry’s first digital engine in its category. Her visionary leadership has propelled the company forward with advancements in hybrid-electric propulsion and sustainable aviation fuel solutions, underscoring her commitment to the future of aviation.
Maria’s leadership philosophy is centered on fostering a customer-centric culture. Committed to forging strong relationships and world-class customer service, she spearheaded the creation of the Customer First helpdesk, providing 24/7 support to over 16,000 customers and 69,000 engines worldwide. Her dedication to leadership and development showcases her commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders.
Throughout her career, Maria has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious James C. Floyd Award for her contributions to Canada’s aerospace industry. Beyond her corporate role, she serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) Foundation and is actively engaged in philanthropic and industry organizations.
Maria holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in commerce from McGill University. Her dynamic leadership, forward-thinking focus, and passion for sustainable innovation continue to position Pratt & Whitney Canada at the forefront of the aviation industry.
