As President and co-founder of Quebec Net Positive, Anne-Josée works to mobilize companies to position the province of Quebec as a hub and accelerator of the low-carbon economy. She is managing this non-profit organization after having worked for more than 25 years in public relations and corporate social responsibility in publicly-traded companies including: Noranda, Domtar, Merck Frosst, Paprican, Bombardier Aerospace and Aimia.
Anne-Josée is recognized for her ability to create innovative partnerships that make a positive impact on both businesses and the community, like the Aimia/IVADO Hub for Data Philanthropy. During her tenure as Director, Social Purpose and Corporate Sustainability, Aimia was recognized twice by Corporate Knights as one of the Top 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada.
Her vision of sustainable development has been shaped over the years by interacting with colleagues from all over the world and by her experience across various sectors: mining and metals, pulp and paper, aeronautics, pharmaceuticals, data-driven marketing, loyalty, philanthropy, professional services and economic development. She is particularly interested in the integration of climate change issues by Boards of Directors and in innovative solutions that can be put forward by the business community to protect the environment.
A proud representative of women in leadership, she completed an executive program at Harvard University: 'Aligning Sustainability with Corporate Performance' and was recently selected as the recipient of the Board Diversity Scholarship (2018), funded by McMaster University and The Conference Board of Canada.
